Came here for lunch with my OMF (Old Man Friend), and was pleasantly surprised to find that even at 3:30pm, not only did we make it in time for the buffet, but that everything on it looked fresh. On sitting down to eat, we realized it's because they also offer a dinner buffet. Jackie's is very reasonably priced, $10.99 for adult lunch, $12.99 for dinner. The buffet included a couple of pork belly dishes, a couple of chicken dishes, a vegetarian noodle dish, veg fried rice, and more. It also came with pho, if we wanted it. This one's a keeper!

Weekend buffet is $13.95 a person. We went there around 12. I saw the big hype on Facebook so I thought it was going to be good. We came from Minnesota to try it out.

The steam rolls are made to order. They give you two at a time. Also if you want pho you have to tell them to bring you a bowl from the kitchen. The broth is pretty bland not much flavor to it. You can taste the beefy flavor but otherwise nothing else. The tri color had no sweetness to it. I felt like there was no sugar in it. The chow fun noodles on the buffet line was pretty good. I have to admit it was very flavorful and wasn't disappointed in that. The egg rolls and steam rolls were pretty decent. The sauce for it was pretty good. Although I wish their pepper sauce should've been a little more spicier. I didn't like the sweet pork at all. It tasted old and the pork smell when I was eating it. Working in the food industry for so many years you know what old meat taste like and I pretty disappointed in that.

I really wanted to like this place a lot but it left me kinda disappointed. Maybe in the future I'll come
Back to try it again to see if my opinion change. I do hope it gets better.

This place had been on my mind for a while since I saw their posts on Facebook so when I was in town, I had to definitely make the trip out. It sits in a small and short strip alongside a laundromat and parking is a little limited. We went on a Saturday dinner trip and found some parking.

Once we entered, it was kind of awkward. No one said hi and we just stood around wondering if we sat ourselves or if we had to wait on someone. After a couple of minutes, a nice older woman came and got us seated and got our drink orders. We went to the buffet and I was ecstatic! I got some fried rice, fried noodle and their curry noodle soup. They have a limited variety of food but I was more for quality then quantity. They also had Hmong sausage, pork belly and other Hmong food items. There are also other items such as pho and steam rolls that you have to order off the buffet and it is included in the buffet price, so don't miss out on that!

Fried rice: It has become hard and stale from sitting out too long and it was an overwhelming taste of soy sauce. I didn't like it.
Fried noodles: My word, it was delicious. Definitely one of my favorite food items from the buffet.
Curry Noodle Soup: It was good, I liked it.
Tri-color dessert: It was a little watered down but I enjoyed it.
Pho: It came in a small bowl, I was grateful for that, the broth wasn't bland but didn't have too much spices either, it was okay.

I liked this place, don't know if it's enough to bring me back in or not but I wouldn't mind coming back. For 4 people, it was $60, definitely a good price. I liked my time here.

My husband & I came here because one of my co-workers recommended this place.

There was no frill to this place but it doesn't matter because the food makes up for it.

We had the buffet and it is delicious. There is a variety of food - such as sausage, papaya, rice.

You can get steamed rolls or pho with the buffet.

There is a menu that you can order off of as well.

I had posted a picture of my food and my Hmong friend thought that I was eating at someone's house because it looked like "legit Hmong food" (her words, not mine).

I definitely recommend this place - so go!

The flavors were familar but somehow I could not place them other than to say they conjured up thoughts of a more primal time when the smell of the earth between our feet was taken with pleasure. It was a good earthy taste. And not a salty one, for I never became thirsty during or after. The staff was attentive, relaxed, and seemed truly please to have us there. The place itself was a little  dingy but it made up for it in the food. I will be back but I can't say right away. I tried the buffet on my first visit. Perhaps next time I'll see what the menu has to offer.
